The Swiss-American Society of Pittsburgh hosts two annual events: an 1. August celebration and a Christmas luncheon. The 1. August celebration has been held for the last several years at Richland Park on a weekend as close to the 1st of August as possible. The Christmas luncheon traditionally is held on the first Sunday of December at the Teutonia Männerchor and coincides with a celebration of St. Nicklaus’ Day and the Swiss-American Society’s annual business meeting.

The Swiss-American Society also hosts other events from time to time. In 2023, for instance, the Swiss-American Society partnered with the Paul Riis Preservation Legacy Preservation to celebrate the birthday of this Swiss immigrant who served as the first director of the Allegheny County Park System.
